Tour Package In Cambodia

Cycling Angkor Private Tour – 4 Days / 3 Nights
Experience the beauty of Cambodia’s religious monuments and countryside from a different perspective as you cycle your way around the Siem Reap province. As the former capital of the ancient Khmer Empire, this area is filled with hundreds of temples set amongst rice fields and small villages. Traveling by bike is the best way to see the grandeur of this country’s unique cultural heritage.

Start at the main temples of Angkor, where your expert guide will help unlock the mystery behind these ruins. Cycling amongst the temples gives you a unique perspective of these magnificent buildings. Traverse shady, paved roads and catch glimpses of stone walls and temples peeking out from behind the trees stopping along the way to explore. The highlight of any journey to Cambodia is the imposing Angkor Wat, a masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Nearby the jungle-covered Ta Phrom and mysterious Bayon reflect the diversity of the temple construction.

Venture outside of the main archeological park to discover small villages and traditional Khmer houses as you cycle out to Banteay Srei and Beng Melea. The intricate detailing that surrounds Banteay Srei’s walls is a magnificent spectacle that has been preserved in near perfect condition, whist Beng Melea lies hidden amongst strangler figs and dense forest.

Your final day of cycling, head to the Rolous Group, a set of three temples that pre-date Angkor Wat. These stone towers are built in a completely different style from most of the other temples in the area, and are the oldest in the region. Continue to Tonle Sap, largest freshwater lake, and embark on a boat trip amongst the traditional floating villages of this unique area for a picnic lunch.

This unforgettable trip explores the natural and historical wonders of the country as you pedal through Siem Reap and the temples of Angkor.

Phnom Penh – Siem Reap Cruise – 3 Days / 2 Nights
The meandering Tonle Sap River serves as a lifeline to Cambodia’s people, many of whom have even taken to living aboard its waters in floating villages. Literally translated to mean Large Freshwater River, Tonle Sap is indeed that; in fact, it is the largest body of fresh water in Southeast Asia and its size quadruples in the wet season when much of the surrounding area floods.

This river and adjoining lake are home to some of the most important sites in all of the country, and Exotissimo have specifically designed this tour to let you enjoy the serenity of this calm river, whilst sleeping in luxurious comfort on board the boat. Over a period of three days you will be introduced to some of the most unforgettable parts of the region, making this one of our favourite Cambodian experiences.

First up, you will get to see the capital of Cambodia between the years 1618 and 1866, Oudong. Much of the town suffered from American bombing raids during the 60s but a set of 509 steps survive, leading up the famed hill to a temple and fantastic views across the surrounding area.

After seeing or even buying some of the wonderful silverware that the region produces, the cruise continues to Kompong Chhnang. This community takes its name from the earthenware pots it makes and provides a beautiful site of stilted houses set amid flood plains that fill up during the wet season, providing the town with an abundance of fish, for which it is now famous.

Here, the river joins with the lake of the same name and you will get to see the intriguing villages scattered about its canal system. This tour will include the largest of them all, Kompong Luong, before your final night on board the boat and disembarkation from what we are sure will be an unforgettable trip.
